At Methodist Weekday School (MWS), children have fun in a warm and caring environment that develops their creativity and life skills. Founded in 1962, MWS is a private, non-profit, non-denominational preschool that understands the journey called child development, as well as the changing needs of families. A diverse community of parents choose MWS because it's an exciting and fun place for their children to learn and grow. Together, we're committed to raising happy, intellectually curious, and socially-competent children.

We base our program on the core belief that children follow a predictable path through development but they are all on different timetables for important milestones along the way. We also believe young children have unique personalities, talents, and interests that add depth and spice to each class. Given these core values, we're committed to provide:

We enroll 127 children-ages 2 years 9 months to 5+ so we can offer several options for placement - including two, three, four and five day programs. Classes meet from 9:00 to 11:45AM. We also offer optional afternoon programs like Lunch (till 1:00), Enrichment for 4's (till 2:00), and Extended Day (till 3:00).
